Federal Bank

Team Saukhyam gratefully acknowledges the support of Federal Bank Hormis Memorial Foundation. The CSR funding provided enabled in part, the Saukhyam Kerala center to scale. This center not only produces semi-finished pads to ship to satellite centers in many states of India; it also produces pads for online sales and mass distributions.

LearnGrowShare Inc

LearnGrowShare Inc is a 501(c)(3) organization based in the US that supports education and well-being and helps youth achieve their potential, especially girls. To maximize impact, the organization collaborates with other organizations that work towards similar goals. LearnGrowShare Inc is supporting Saukhyam on its scaling journey.

UNDP - Niti Aayog Investor Consortium

During Nov 2020 - Jan 2021, Saukhyam was one of 35 women-led organizations hand-picked for mentoring by UNDP - Niti Aayog. Saukhyam thanks Sayantani Mukherjee and Girija Nair for the support provided in its journey to scale. UN India-NITI Aayog investor association for women entrepreneurs was formed in 2018 and brings together key ecosystem stakeholders, including impact investors.

Amrita TBI

Amrita TBI is a non-profit startup incubator supported by Govt. of India and Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham that funds, mentors and nurtures ideas, startups and entrepreneurs. Saukhyam gratefully acknowledges support of the Nidhi Prayas scheme of DST for hardware / machinery through Amrita TBI. Amrita TBI has been associated with Saukhyam since its early days providing space as well as support in human resources.

Atal Incubation Center IIIT Hyderabad

AIC-IIITH Foundation is an Atal Incubation Center set up exclusively for incubating and supporting tech-based social enterprises. Saukhyam has received a CSR grant from Pernod Ricard to support its women empowerment initiatives through AIC-IIITH Foundation. This grant will enable Saukhyam to build its last-mile delivery network reaching remote rural and tribal areas in several Indian states.

Pune International Center

The Pune International Center The Pune International Centre (PIC) organizes annual national conferences on social innovation and supports social enterprises through a Shared Service Centre. Saukhyam gratefully acknowledges pro-bono support received for digital marketing, social media, audit, accounting and legal compliance services.

Headstart Network Foundation

Headstart is India's largest grassroots level organization that supports entrepreneurship and startups. In October 2020, Saukhyam was one of 10 organizations selected for its Kickstart cohort. This led to partnerships with AICs in different regions of India to help build the last mile delivery network for reusable pads.

Atal Incubation Center Manipal University Jaipur

AIC-MUJ supports and encourages technology-based start-ups creating impact in the core sectors of the economy. Saukhyam is incubated at AIC-MUJ for a period of 1 year (March 2021 - Feb 2022) with the primary focus of building the last-mile distribution network in Rajasthan. At least 50 women micro-entrepreneurs will be on-boarded to act as the focal points for distribution and sales of pads.

Atal Great Lakes Balachandran Incubator

AIC – Great Lakes Balachandran Incubator is supported by Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog and Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai. Saukhyam is incubated at AIC-MUJ for a period of 1 year (March 2021 - Feb 2022) with the primary focus of building the last-mile distribution network in Tamil Nadu.

Women in Indian Social Entrepreneurship Network

The Women in Indian Social Entrepreneurship Network (WISEN) began when 40 impact organizations from all over India came together for a 6-month intensive during June - December 2020 designed to help them scale. Funded by the US Consulate and supported by Amani Institute and ANDE India, WISEN counts Saukhyam founders among its core group members.

Miller Center for Social Entrepreneurship

The mission of the Miller Center is accelerating entrepreneurship to end global poverty and protect the planet. During June - October 2020, Saukhyam was one of 15 early-stage, high potential women-led social enterprises of its GSBI JumpStart program. Ms. Mini Atwal from the program continues to mentor Saukhyam to-date.

Climate Launchpad

Climate Launchpad is the world’s largest green business ideas competition. Saukhyam was a finalist from India in 2020 and was selected through Climate Collective's Climate Ready program for women. This partnership helped Saukhyam evaluate its climate impact through the Impact Forecast tool in terms of carbon-dioxide equivalent emissions prevented to-date.

Green the Red

Saukhyam is a proud member of Green the Red, a volunteer collective working to change the menstrual hygiene landscape in India by advocating and building awareness about sustainable menstrual hygiene practices that are safe for the environment, for sanitation workers and reduce the burden on our waste disposal systems.

Jammu Pollution Control Board

Saukhyam received an invitation in October 2019 from the Jammu Pollution Control Board to conduct workshops on sustainable menstruation in educational institutions and for women in rural areas. The communication partner for this initiative was Radio Big FM that helped widely introduce the concept of reusable pads.

Jammu Rural Livelihood Mission, Umeed

Saukhyam works with Umeed, the Rural Livelihood Mission in Jammu. Rural women were trained in the production and sales of Saukhyam Reusable Pads. Hundreds from rural areas have already made the switch to these sustainable options in a pilot and with an upcoming launch, thousands more will be benefitted.

Bihar State Rural Livelihood Mission, Jeevika

Jeevika, the Bihar State Rural Livelihood Mission, helped organize awareness workshops for Saukhyam in Patna, Jehanabad and Ara. The signing of the MoU slated for March 2020 was postponed due the lockdown. Once normalcy returns, Saukhyam activities in Bihar will resume. This partnership will enable thousands of rural women to have access to sustainable products for menstrual hygiene.

DST Seed Division

The Science for Equity, Empowerment and Development (SEED) Division of Dept of Science and Technology provides funding support to projects benefitting people at the bottom of the pyramid. DST SEED provided a grant to Amrita University in 2016 to develop a low-cost machine for making disposable sanitary pads from natural materials such as banana fiber.

Ripple Academy

In 2018, Saukhyam was part of the inagural Ripple Academy cohort, that included 30 women leaders from India and Nepal representing environmental advocates, NGO leaders, community organizers, educators, interfaith practitioners and social entrepreneurs. This 2-month learning exercise was an undertaking of Women's Earth Alliance and United Religions Initiative and began with a 3-day program at Parmarth Niketan Ashram in Rishikesh, India.

ALC India

Access Livelihoods Consulting India has helped 65,000 farmers and artisans to build 54 producer companies in five states of India. Saukhyam is working with ALC India to bring livelihood opportunities through the production and sales of Saukhyam Reusable Pads among marginalized communities.

Rotary Club Coimbatore Smart City

Rotary Club of Coimbatore Smart City partnered with Saukhyam to organize awareness workshops on sustainable menstruation in Coimbatore schools and colleges. Club members also made the switch and conducted more such workshops in their communities. The Club also procured pads for free distribution to women and girls in its adopted villages near Coimbatore.

Bangalore South Rotary Trust

Saukhyam partnered with Bangalore South Rotary Trust for conducting awareness workshops in rural areas near Bangalore as well as the distribution of pad sets to school girls. The Trust was earlier distributing disposable sanitary napkins and Saukhyam congratulates for the bold choice in deciding to switch to reusables instead.

Himvalley Social Foundation

Himvalley Social Foundation is partnering with Saukhyam to help build the last mile delivery network in Uttarakhand for the sales and distribution of Saukhyam Reusable Pads. The Foundation has conducted sessions on sustainable menstruation in schools and colleges in Rishikesh and Dehradun, as well as online.
